Restricted Industries for Capitolio Funding

While Capitolio Funding strives to offer tailored financial solutions to a wide variety of businesses, there are certain industries that we are unable to support due to regulatory or risk-related concerns. Below is a list of industries where we do not provide financial services:

1. Adult Entertainment

Any business related to adult content, services, or adult-oriented venues.

2. Illegal or Controlled Substances

This includes companies involved in the production, distribution, or sale of illegal drugs or paraphernalia.

Marijuana dispensaries (even in states where it is legal).

3. Gambling and Betting

Businesses involved in casinos, online gaming, sports betting, and any other forms of gambling.

4. Weapons and Firearms

Companies engaged in the sale, distribution, or manufacturing of firearms, explosives, and ammunition.

5. Cryptocurrency and Blockchain

Cryptocurrency exchanges, mining operations, or blockchain technology ventures with financial services implications.

6. Pyramid Schemes and Multi-Level Marketing (MLM)

Businesses associated with pyramid schemes or those operating MLM structures where the majority of revenue comes from recruitment rather than product sales.

7. Financial Institutions and Lenders

Banks, credit unions, payday lenders, and other financial services companies that offer lending or financial advisory services.

8. Non-Compliant Medical Practices

Medical or healthcare-related businesses that operate without proper licensing or outside legal frameworks.

Companies involved in unapproved pharmaceuticals or treatments.

9. Political Campaigns and Organizations

Political candidates, parties, or any entity primarily engaged in political activities.

10. Businesses Operating Outside Legal Boundaries

Any business that operates in violation of U.S. laws, including but not limited to:

  • Environmental violations.
  • Fraudulent business practices.
  • Misleading financial reporting.

- Maximum 3 Negative days per Month
- Minimum 5 Deposits per Month
- Minimum 51% Ownership 

  • †Same-Day Funding is available in select states for business loans up to $250K. Eligibility applies to loan applications completed Monday through Friday by 11:00 a.m. ET. Funds are typically disbursed by 5:00 p.m. local time on the same day. Applications submitted after 11:00 a.m. ET, on weekends, or bank holidays will be processed the next business day, with funding within 2–3 business days.
  • *Instant Funding requires prior registration and acceptance of Instant Funding Terms. Limited to lines of credit draws from $2,000 to $25,000, with one draw per business day. Only eligible debit cards from participating financial institutions can be used. Transfers typically occur within 30 minutes but may be subject to delays or additional restrictions.
  • **Capitolio Funding cannot serve certain industries. Please see our restricted industries list. Additionally, we do not provide business loans in North Dakota. Other underwriting requirements may apply.
  • ‡If you prepay your loan in full, we may apply a reduction to the remaining unpaid interest as outlined in your loan agreement under the Prepayment Interest Reduction provision.
  • §Only businesses with excellent credit profiles, cash flow, and a strong payment history with Capitolio Funding may qualify for the lowest rates. The average APR for term loans is 48.3%, and the average APR for lines of credit is 47.9%, based on loans originated in the six months ending June 30, 2024.
  • ◊For certain states and loan conditions, you may be required to make a minimum draw of $2,000 at the time of loan origination.
  • Loans are subject to lender approval and may be issued by a member of the Capitolio Funding group or by a third-party lender such as Celtic Bank, depending on the location and circumstances of the business.
